Project 30 - colour control with manually operated cameras

The brief for this project was to find a brightly coloured subject and take a series of photos from 1 stop under to 1 stop over.

The obvious difference between the photos is that the intensity of the colour changes from darker through to lighter, ie the colour becomes paler as the series progresses.

Project 26 - Real and implied traingles

The brief for this project was to produce 2 sets of compositions, one using ‘real’ triangles, the other making ‘implied’ triangles.

Implied

Arrange 3 people in a group picture such that their faces or the lines of their bodies makes a triangle.

A still life arrangement of 5 or 6 objects to produce a triangle with the apex at the bottom.


A still life arrangement of 5 or 6 objects to produce a triangle with the apex at the top.

Real

A triangle by perspective converging towards the top of the frame.



An inverted triangle converging towards the bottom of the frame.


A subject which is itself triangular.
